Geo Directional Domains I Almost Enterted In a BIG Way!

This morning was a very productive one for me.  Today I almost found myself entering into geo directional domains in a tremendous way.  What sparked me to get into this was the bido.com auction for eastoakland.com that went for over $500 or so.  Many of the bido experts including myself felt it was worth a great deal more than this.  Anyhow you now know would created my spark, now what halted it?  The word central halted it.  The only geo directional domains available for the united states were ones that included the word central.  Now the problem with this is I am quite skeptical about about the word central.  How many people really think of the word central when typing in a city let alone a state?  So I did some comparative analysis on this and came up with the conclusion that unless you own South Central Los Angeles it really isn’t worth the time or money trying to develop it.  Don’t get me wrong there are searches for some of the central areas of a state, but too commonly I am finding that people would rather type in the basic north, south, east, west combinations.  My loss today is your gain, I spent hours today look at what state geo directional domains are still available.  If you feel definite about the central domain as many other domainers obviously do since a number of the south central state domain combinations are taken, here is a list of available domains for you to register:

Alright, after pondering to register these domains I decided against it!  But I did find a great domain name at an incredible value.  I now am the proud owner of NorthPasadena.com not bad for a reg fee!  Ok, Ok, I had a little help and literally spent several hours of the day scanning for geo directional domains on a drop list.  So there it is I actually got one!

Best Regards,

Jason Thompson
