DNKO Update

Tuesday, May 19th, 2009

The founder of dnko.com was hospitalized earlier today for high blood pressure and chess pains.  His doctor told him to go straight to the emergency room in his area.  Some are lead to believe that these issues have been induced by the problematic launch of the DNKO.com auction website.  After chatting with a few people in the DNKO auction chatroom today, the majority of people were positive about the website and are willing to work with Mark, the founder of the site on getting through these website gliches.  Past that, I ask all the domainers within our industry to keep Mark in your prayers and to pray for him to get well.  He is definitely a valued asset to our community and DNKO will be just as valuable once all the gliches are worked out.

Best Regards,

Acquired Infomercials.nfo On Bido

Tuesday, May 19th, 2009

Today I decided to bid on the domain name infomercials.info on bido.  I was definitely interested in this domain from the day that it was entered into the bido auction system.  I set my budget for a total of $500 and was pleasantly suprised when I won the domain for $442.  At this price the domain name was literally a steal because the domain name alone is worth more than $1,000 in my eyes.  My next step is to shop the domain name around to a few of the companies who are paying big money for the keyword infomercials on google.  If I don’t find a buyer within the next month, then I will proceed to develop the site myself into a platform that will either be a infomercial directory or a site which provides an added service to infomercials which are running currently on network television.  Quite exciting indeed!  I don’t normally purchase domain names from auctions, but I made an exception with this one.

Best Regards,
